The Grand Hotel del Gianicolo is a new 4 star Hotel located in a historic 18th Century villa on the wonderful Gianicolo hill (considered the main stronghold of the heroic Roman republic defence against the French troops) just above the historic centre of Rome: Trastevere. The Grand Hotel del Gianicolo has 3 floors served by elevators and is equipped with handicap facilities. Outside you are greeted by two gardens and a pool nestled amidst the greenery for sunbathing, diving and swimming. Or if you prefer you may enjoy the roof garden and two splendid gardens. On the Hotel premises there is a large indoor guest parking facility (at the price of 15,50 Euros per night). The Grand Hotel del Gianicolo also makes its facilities available for meetings and cerimonies, always conducted with elegance and in utmost privacy(2 rooms that can accommodate up to 100 persons). The rich buffet breakfast is included in the rooms’ rates and a snack bar is at guests’ disposal for sipping a drink after a long visit to the Eternal City. The helpful staff will be glad to help you in arranging your excursions and will give you the best suggestions about museums, restaurants and shopping. Internet Point. How to reach the Hotel

You can get to Grand Hotel del Gianicolo:

From Fiumicino airport (FCO), located 35 Km far from Rome west side, you can get to the hotel:
· by the “Leonardo Express” train that leaves every day from Fiumicino Airport station every 30 minutes and it stops at the Termini Railway Station without no mid-journey stops.

From Ciampino airport (CIA), located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the east side of Rome, you can get to the hotel:
· by ACO.TRA.L bus + Train (Railway Station of Ciampino)
Outside the Arrivals Hall there are Acotral Buses for the Ciampino Railway Station. From the Railway Station there are trains for Roma-Termini Railway Station every 15 minutes.
· by ACO.TRA.L bus + Subway
Outside the Arrivals Hall there are Acotral Buses for for “Anagnina” subway station.
Once arrived to the Subway Anagnina (Line A), you take direction Battistini and get off at Termini Railway Station.

From Termini railway station you can get to the hotel:
· by Bus(ATAC)
Outside Termini Station there is a big ATAC Buses parking. You can take bus n.75 getting off at Via Carini.

· The nearest subway stop is “Piramide” (Line B), located at about 2.5 km.
