Stay at Albergo del Senato means stay in Rome, in its historical centre, it means to speak about the Pantheon, about its history, its emotions…the Hotel lies in one of the most suggestive areas of the world, between Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia, the Ara Pacis and the Spanish Steps. Piazza della Rotonda is the place exactly in front of the Pantheon and it’s so familiar for Romans that they simply call it “Piazza del Pantheon”. It was built in 27BC when Menenio Agrippa, Augusto’s sun-in-law and architect, decided to build a temple where Romolo ascended to the sky during a ceremony. How many times you saw this charming building in books or movies…The building that houses the hotel is from the second half of the 19th century, erected following the designs of the famous architect Gaetano Koch. In 1976, the family Pelosi become owner of this palace and started to manage the Albergo del Senato. At the beginning was only Tullio Pelosi, then, after 30 years, is all the family that direct this enchanting place. The hotel was completely renewed and works ended in 2001, giving to the Albergo del Senato the charm and elegance of a luxury hotel, well-known all around the world.

· from Fiumicino airport, located 35 Km far from Rome west side, you can get to the hotel:
· by Special Train Leonardo Express
The "Leonardo Express" train leaves every day from FiumicinoAirport station every 30 minutes and it stops at the Termini Railway Station without no mid-journey stops.
· by Taxi
Taxis are available in the arrivals areas of the terminals. The fare to the centre of Rome is about 45 Euro. It is highly recommended to take only the white licensed taxis.

At the airport is possible to rent a car with the all the major car hire companies.

· from Ciampino airport, located 25 km from the east side of Rome, you can get to the hotel:
· by COTRAL bus + Train (Railway Station of Ciampino)
Outside the Arrivals Hall there are Acotral Buses for the Ciampino Railway Station. From the Railway Station there are trains for Roma-Termini Railway Station every 15 minutes.
· by COTRAL bus + Subway
Outside the Arrivals Hall there are Acotral Buses for for "Anagnina" subway station. Once arrived to the Subway Anagnina (Line A), you take direction Battistini and get off at Termini Railway Station.
· by Taxi
Taxis are available opposite the to the Arrivals Hall. The fare to the centre of Rome is about 50 Euro. It is highly recommended to take only the white licensed taxis.

At the airport is possible to rent a car with the major car hire companies.

· from Termini railway station, located about 1,5 km from the hotel, you can get to the hotel:

Outside Termini Station there is a big ATAC Buses parking. You can take bus n.175 or 492

It's highly recommended to take only the white licenced taxis.

· There is no subway near the hotel.
